Hello, new to the site.
I have been thinking of a design for ATS. I'm thinking about a square container 8x8x12 and a 4x4x8 inside the first for the light. that would leave a 2 inch width for 4 screens with only one light. I believe that is between 200-300 square inches depending on the size of screen for a 90 gal. mixed reef. I plan on starting 2 screens for a week then the other 2 and then altinating cleaning each week. Does anyone think this is overkill, it seems like a simple design. What materials can be used. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank You.

Sounds like the screens would each be 6 wide X 12 deep = 72 square inches. Four of them is 288, but they are single sided. It's not overkill because the light does not sound that strong. The closer you can get to 90 watts CFL, the stronger it will be. Just make a square out of 3/4" pvc, and cut your 3/8" slot. Use two layers of roughed up plastic canvas. You will only have room for a single bulb, so try to use something like this:

...although 3000K would be better.
