New RAIN-2 Algae Scrubber grow - whats next?

I installed my RAIN-2 algae scrubber 14 days ago.
Following the instructions, I have 1 of the 4 lights connected for this time.

I'm assuming that I shouldn't try to clean off the growth, but I can turn on a second of the lights - perhaps on the other side of the cover?
Is there anything else I should do?
When do I check for growth again? In another 14 days and then do my first cleaning of the algae?

Looking good for 14 days and 1 light. Looks like you might have the bottom light running.

Don't clean yet, but plug in another light on the top, on the other side. In another week most of the screen holes should be filled in and you can do a first cleaning.

1 week later, here is my growth ( see pic ). I did my first cleaning.
The growth looks good ( right?)
Am I OK to connect the remaining lights? I am running the lights 18 hours per day

Yes it looks good. Brush everything clean in your sink, and plug in another light.

That's some good growth for a week.
