This Turf Starter material will help you seed your ATS screen design setup, and get your scrubber jump started quickly. It's Fast Growing Very hardy Green Hair Algae, on the screens along with at least 3 other hardy species. Your screen will have Green Hair Algae pods already starting to grow on them. Simply Glue your starter sheet to your existing screen and or an acrylic sheet for backer support, apply light and water flow, and watch your ATT GHA explode! Once it gets started in your ATS, it grows VERY quickly.

I personally harvest the Algae and feed it to my fish. They LOVE IT! Here is a picture of a typical "Algae Star" which was was just harvested from my Victory Scrubber. I get usually one or two of these a week that rip from my screen. You can you can expect to see the same results with the proper setup. I can also help with that.

The starter sheets are on a material that can easily be glued onto acrylic sheeting or any material for that matter and placed into your ATS to seed/speed up your ATS setup

This is an algae "star" from my Scrubber is about the size of man's fist about to be fed to my Emperator/Blue Tang

Update:

For any of you interested in getting Starter ATS screens from me....I sent a 20" x 10"starter screen ( basically one half of my Victory Scrubber Scrump) and several loose " Hair Stars" over the KCress to test and attach to his Horizontal scrubber. We want To see if we can seed his system with My Starter Screens and how they ship. Shipping was fine, the Algae did well according to Cress... So, so far It appears my new prototype mesh material is going to work, which allows me to ship screen easily. The HA seems to cling to it and flourish on it after only 2 weeks in my system. If Cress can get his to grow out, and the material holds up, then I will consider the experiment to be a success. He also has VERY high Nitrates which have been documented BEFORE he installed my starter Screens. It will be interesting to see what growth he gets, and how it effects the Nitrates.

Im pretty confident he will have success on BOTH counts with my Victory Scrump Starter Screens.

If anyone is interested You can follow the progression of the ATS starter screen I sent here:

What exactly is the experimental screen material, if you don't mind me asking?

Well right now its a trade secret until I have my V Scrubber ready to market.

Coke didn't just give away it's recipe did it? No its hidden in some Vault somewhere lol :)

Part of me wants to make it open source.. just for the good of the community.. I still might... as that is my nature. Heck I put my V Scrubber design out there for all to see and copy? lol...

BTW my first customer KCress is having great success, he was unable to grow HA for OVER A YEAR, with my Turf Starter Kit, he ALREADY
has growth coming in quickly after just a week. So they do work!

Algaenator. No, Coke may not have published the recipe but the contents would have been checked by someone for suitability (at least they would these days). Personally if it was me I would want to know what the material was (made of) before it went in my tank.
