So I have an ATS up and running, Nitrates/Phosphates are nicely 0.
I turned off my protein skimmer and increased feeding as suggested.
Corals and fish are quite happy.
The problem is, I now am getting a pretty thick coating of old rotting food/detritus in my sump, and in
any place in the main tank without a lot of flow.
Is that normal? Something to worry about?
Will it get a lot thicker?
Time for a lot of hermit crabs and such?
Thanks.
