That's some great flow. As long as your screen is super rough, it should work great with good lighting.

i roughed it up really well with my wood wrasp. it feels prickly and fuzzy. i have a plan for the lighting to go on as well. ill post pics when i build it. i like the smokey acrylic that you used and plan on making a acrylic shroud for each side to hold my 2 23w cf 3000 bulbs and keep the light trapped inside. i also plan to line the inside of th light housing with hvac alluminum metel tape for a reflector.

I not sure if the aluminum tape will give off any metal into the water. It might.

actually the tape wont be in contact with the water at all. i thgink im good there. well thanks for your input im glad i did my research and found your info. i first heard about you through a site called chucks addiction. im setting up my tank using his guidelines. im sure you know what im going through trying to talk to my lfs about such practices. ie: ats dsb natural reef ecosystem but im holding my own. :mrgreen:
