i have the 48 inch in my tank is its growing algae like crazy (at the bottom of the tank too!!)!!! with the blue bulb and the 6700K bulb

The first one uses T5HO (24 watts each bulb), and would work better than the second one (14 watts each bulb). The bulbs are ok, but replace them with 3000K when they wear out (3 months).

can do I think I'm going with the less cost one for space saving (only 24 x1 x 3) and energy savings plus they do not get hot at all :D

since is has 2 14w (6700K) and the spectrum i'm going to run one with 6700k and one with the spectrum and see what side grows best, then start replacing like you said :D :D
