Hi I was wondering if someone could help me with my scrubber? I've had it up and running for 2 1/2 months the algae is growing fine on the screen. I run the lights on a timer cycle 6hours on and 2 off. My screen is over sized for my tank, but my skimmer cup is filling up every day and I still have alot of algae growing in my tank. The algae builds up on the screen really quick I usually clean one side once a week. Am I doing anything wrong? I alternate cleaning weeks.

Make sure it's a JPEG file.
The skimmer cup has nothing to do with this. Skimmers remove food only.
Your scrubber is just not growing enough, for how much you are feeding. Can't say more though until you post pics of before and after cleaning.
Size of jpeg seems to matter as well. A really big one will fail.
I usually reduce to 640x480.
Is that cleaning 1 side each week correct? That leaves 2 weeks between cleaning a side.
Seems like it should be clean 1 side every 1/2 week.

If it grows really fast and its oversized your nutrients are pretty high. I recommend cleaning both sides every 3-5 days. Again with out pics of growth at X days its hard to tell. At least clean one side every 3 days.

How long should I start see a decrease in algae growth after cleaning the screen every 4 Days?

3 to 6 weeks. You can speed it up by feeding less, or using stronger lights.

How strong? I'm using 26watt - 27000k CFL flood light bulb equal to a 90 watt bulb.

Well, two of those (52 watts) would be strong for a 52 gal with normal feeding.

I do have two of them one on each side. On a 30 gallon tank. Is that to much?

Is plenty. You can feed less if you want.
