Have been looking through tons of posts and could not find much on screen comparisons. I know some of you are using Needle Point mesh and some Carpet mesh.

Also, I have seen the posts where SM has shown the drilled plastic mesh, but did not see much else about it.

So, here is my question: what screens are nowadays deemed best to use and where can one purchase them on line? I live in the boonies and there is no such thing as a fabric store.

Thanks

Rainer

In the boonies with no fabric stores but a fish store with marine fish? Interesting.

Got that right - the wonderful world of the internet! Our nearest LFS is 55 minutes away; closest fabric store 25 min but didn't have it, even Walmart who used to carry the screen didn't.

Thanks for the links!!!

Went to EverythingPlasticCanvas and they have a great selection.

Which is preferred: 7, 10, or 14 mesh?

Also, they do have an "Extra Stiff" version, (probably Viagra impregnated).

Any experience with either?

7 is good. The stiffer ones won't rip as easy when you are roughing them up.
