surface dust/film?

i have been seeing a dust like film on the surface of my water sense I disconnected my skimmer 2 months ago. i have tried more surface agitation and water changes but to no avail. does anyone here have this also? I am not complaining because the corals in my tank never looked better, but this surface film annoys me:) do you think running an undersized skimmer for an hour each day would clear this up? And stay tuned for pics of my new larger scrubber and basement sump/fish room!

You don't want to remove it. It's food (protein) for the corals.

You can always jus point a powerhead at the surface.
