Hi

I am new to marine hobby so need your advice. I plan 16g tank. Easy to keep corals only and few fishes
Was inspired by SM's viewtopic.php?f=3&t=639 (http://www.algaescrubber.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=639) idea.

1. tank 16g DT + another galon or more in sump (back compartment)
2. screen 6x6
3. pump 210 gph
4. LED light 10W as more efficient than fluoroscent.

Does these figures look like ones i need ?
Does 210 gph pump will make enough movement in tank, or i need to plan aditionall powerhead ?

A 6" screen normall needs 6 X 35 = 210 gph, so yours should be fine. I don't think the LED will work, however. I'd switch to a 13 watt CFL or fluorescent tube. Try both and see which one grows more.

Thaks a lot - will stay on cfl for begining. Is 13w good enough thinking that only 50% of light will flow on screen at the best ? I plan using "U" shaped lamp. Or may be two ?
As i understood warm white is preferable ?

Warm, yes. Start with 13 watts.
