Hi,
I'm from Polish. I do not know English and I'm writing this post using Google translator, so I'm not sure if everything will be clear. Algae scrubbers concept I was very convincing as a means of filtration. I have a similar solution in the pond on the plot.
In the 80's dealt with freshwater aquarium (total of 210 gallons). With my reef tank took off on 19 November. Barrier built with coral gravel and I bought 1.3 kg of live rock for the introduction into the tank a little bit of life.

Last week I have two beads:
Capnella Mbicata; Akropora Pseudopterogorgia.
December 2 I got from a friendly store a handful of filamentous algae from the tank. I put them in the filter screen, and I hope that this will accelerate the start of filtration.

And so it looks like I built the filter.

If anyone has any suggestions about the way I try to start filtering, please prompt. I forgot to mention that this is my first marine aquarium.
Lighting done with the filter width 300 led, about 2000lum, the temperature of 2500K to 3500K. After 150 leds on each side of the screen, which measures 12 inches by 4 inches.
I've only now the problem of finding the optimal time of illumination. The tank lights from 8 to 20, and algae scrubber from 21 hours to 6 am.
Well, I do not know whether I did well.

That is a lot of LEDs!! Looks really good. How do you cool them? How long has the scrubber been running?

The translation came through just fine.

Floyd R Turbo Like I said, the scrubber is working on 2 December. I have a screen made of composite plastic mesh in half. So I put in the middle of hyphae from a mature aquarium algae, hoping for rapid multiplication of algae on the screen. Now I'm waiting on the results. As for cooling, I have no such need. Touching fingers, feel the heat, probably around 40C.
SantaMonica whole has 24W.
Porad?cie, the shutter speeds. It is hard for me to move around the board by using the Google translator. What are your suggestions.
