is my scrubber to big?

I am wondering if my scrubber is to big to be cleaned every 7 days. my tank is a lightly stocked 55 gallon reef and my scrubber is 16"x10" lit on both sides by 4 23 watt cfl 2700k's with 500gph flow. I am getting nice green growth but I only get about a 1/4" thick mat on the screen every sunday. I noticed that the sm100 produces about a 1/2" mat, Is this an issue? or am I scrubbing just as good as I can?

Yours is fine, every 7 days. You can't compare a CFL scrubber to a T5 scrubber. Plus I'm feeding about 20 times what you are.

cool thanks. maybe one day i will upgrade to t-5 or a sm100
