to be honest I am not sure what kind of algae my scrubber grows...some of it is light green and some is forest green and some is almost light tan,,some scrapes of easily and some requires some elbow grease. I use a wooden spatchula to clean it off. why do you use a hack saw blade? Do you have any pics of turf and regular algae side by side?
