Biography:

Had fish since about 1985. Mostly freshwater. I lost 3 tanks totaling about 100 gallongs in the Loma Prieta quake and my bedroom was unusable for 2 months while it dried out. Since then, I have had a few tanks with bettas, gouramis, goldfish, neons and rams. I have plans for a pond and a reef tank but can't start until the economy picks up or my wife agrees to support it. For now I enjoy reading about aquarium technology online and building furniture. Our favorite fish at the moment is a goldfish named scooby. This fish swims under a bar to get food and is a lot of fun to watch. Our neons are named Scooby Snacks because they were housed together until Scooby was sitting stil. digesting something and one of the neons was missing.
