cycling diatom bloom

Hi,

Im in first week cycling my 110g tank, with 80% dead live rock and 20% live rock.
last couple days diatom bloom it coming rapidly with no green algae.
I turn off my tank lights and yesterday start my Scrubber with 16 hour per day.

So thats a good idea ??? ..........What are you think,any advice ???

A scrubber won't grow too much while cycling, because you are not feeding yet. But it will shorten the cycle time. Brown is all you'll get on the screen for now.
