dont see any bigish heatsinks on there site.
does anybody know were the best place is to get the heatsinks for the leds , in the uk for a decent price . or would i be better of getting them all shipped over from china or the usa . in the uk...

yes i agree with that but it has to be put in near some flow of water to disperse it , if you put it in tank that is totaly still it goes like stringy snot , marine snow of the shelf does the same...

haa i was a big hasty with the led light working , it does not work as well as the bulb .
i seen some growth but not enough to say it works that well so now taken that off and put bulb back on .

thought about just freezing it myself without the powder , easier and will keep longer frozen .

why do you get clear algea on the scrubber ? its mixed in with the green and purple algae. :?:
update i have gone vertical and put the 10w led further away and it works fine now , must have been the horizontal and to close with the led that caused the mistake of it not working .

well i tried the 10w led , doesnt work at all , could go to the 30w version but just dont have the money to buy one so going back to the bulb .
10w led had next to know growth at all in 2 days ,...
also i have been thinking a lot about going vertical with the scrubber , my nitrates have never been zero , not high though .
think i will have to go vertical to get zero .

Curious as to why you would say that when there are several scrubbers on your site that use LEDs and work just fine? As I said in my thread, they are just too expensive right now to really be more...
carnt see why they dont , wavelengths that are right should work the same as bulbs do .
