Just noticed behind my scrubber on the glass there's a good size patch of hair algae beside the lights. Should I just remove or remove and rub into the scrubber when I clean next?

Yea I've been using a serrated knife, I'll give a clean and see how it goes. Hopefully it will get better.

Nearly 2 weeks of growth, last time I cleaned I scraped it right back virtually nothing on it. It's a bit yellow in the centre so should I retuice by 2 hours?

Day 7, pictures are alot darker than it actually is. Getting a few small bits of nice green growth. After taking picture I gave it a quick wipe.

I started with a uas for around 2 months which never really took off, so I built a waterfall instead. Feeding a half cube and a few flakes a day so I'm using a 12" squared scrubber using 2x12w cfl...

I spent longer and it's better but not great. The holes around 3mm but the mesh just fits with a push, should I make it a bit bigger?

This is my first go at a scrubber. I feed roughly 1/2 cube a day at the Moment so I'm using a 4x3 scrubber. Very basic only using a 12watt cfl bulb and tin can as reflector. My sumps running...

I'm looking into setting up a scrubber but I'm pretty clueless.

I feed roughly 1/2 cube a day, so I'm looking as a 1 sided screen, but what size does it need to be? How to I work it out? And then...
