But as of now - is the scrubber removing antrhing from the system?
I thought that a dual layer was the best since there always would be some algea left to grow?
But i an going to follow hour advise and change it to a single layer - while adding some Bowl Like...

Tech sheet.
Screen: 23 cm (w) - 50 cm (high)
Flow: 3000 liters pr. hour

So here is the deal.
My tank is a month old - and my scrubber 2 weeks
I am getting a small hint of green algea - but mostly brown on the plate.
My lights in the tank is running for 8 hours -...
I did and and I did with no result! Well not true I fot results but the were like 50 bucks a piece!
Could another word for like be a lampshade or ????? if I am looking on Ebay
Thanks - that was also my thought :)
The problem is that I might suspect the black gravel I have in the bottom to hold a large amount of silicate? So maybe I have to pulled it all out again !
Dont know if I have translated it right - but will the ATS remove Silicate (the element that can cause many things including brown algea and maybe cyano) ??
Thanks
Meanwhile a quick picture

Seems like the brown algea is over the hole plate
The problem is that there is no hardware store in DK that has reflectors! Do any of you have any links to where I can get them online?
I will do a video tomorrow then :)
I have a safe hole in my pluming so that it will suck in air. All the water before the safe hole sucks air can be in the plastic can in the bottom. I will try to do a short film to describe it....
I need to suck start the filter because the piping in the back loops - so the waterlevel is lower and therefor I need to suck the water over :)
Ok - do you have any links to relfektors on ebay that might fit?
The green tube is for starting/restarting the stystem. I shut of the ATS and then just suck = then there is water in the system- ...
But SM If I would try using it without reflectors - should I then increase the flow now? And by how much ? I think that the water is moving fairly quickly over the screen but should it be double that...
And tank is 4 days old :)
A short video of my scrubber - I need some reflectors - i know - but will test it without first in order to determine if I need them. This is the 2 day of running
Please comment on flow! :)
...
Let there be light :)
Now I just hope my DIY electrics dont short circuit
I know but I cant seem to find any on ebay or in the stores....
I get it now :)

Thanks! I am going for 2 x 30 watts bulbs then!
If I was to run a dubble siddet ATS what light bulb should I use?
Info:
Screen measure forexambel 22cm(L)x19cm(H)=418square cm.
Flow should approx be 22cm(L)x60L/t= 1320L/t
Return pump =...
So I have been reading and reading but still having a bit of trouble :?:
If I am running a 250 liters system then:
How big does the plate have to be if I am running it with lights on both...
Anyone outthere running a scrubber on a Red Sea Max 250?
If so I would love to see some pics for inspiration!
Thanks :)
