If this has already been discussed please redirect me to the thread. I have concerns about the affect of the green-grabber on water quality. From what little I have read no one actually knows what...

It is lighting one side that is about 100 sq. inches.
Here is a couple paints of the screen support and how I modified the screen so it would stay centered in the box.

I plan on adding some plants once I find some that are native to Missouri and also attractive. The screen is easily cleanable. I build a box that is 2+/- in. tall. It supports the screen and blocks...

As would I!!
I have been using them since my first build. I didn't have any zip ties and remembered I had them left from a wall installation kit for a flat panel tv. Took me awhile googling to figure out what...
Beaded cable ties are a great replacement for zip ties. Zip ties are more of a one time use.
Just google beaded cable ties. I got mine from cable-ties.com....
what problems do pod cause?
Maybe this has been discussed already, but I have been thinking about the possibility of an algae scrubber that requires minimal cleaning, say once or twice a months at most. If I understand...
use some 3/4 inch pvc, 90 degree elbow, and 2 or 4 tee's to make a bracket
This might be late, but I used cpr cs90 with a danner mag 9.5. Worked great, just keep an eye on the dosing pump, if it becomes clogged your display will over flow if you don't catch it in time. I...
