Need a little help here -- 2 54g corner tanks

Im in the design process of a duel scrubber.im going to use the overflows on each of my 54 corner tanks to feed a two sided scrubber using 6 15 watt t5 bulbs. Can i use thin clear plexiglass to inclose the bulbs to prevent moisture from getting to them?im wanting to feed the spraybar from the center instead of the side like all the designs ive seen have think that would work?My overflows are 500 gph using 1 1/4 pipe so should my spraybar be 1 1/4 diameter as to not restrict the flow?ive been searching my butt off and cant find the anwsers to these questions . Any help would be appriciated( or however you spell it hehe) thanks

Yes you can use plexi to cover/enclose bulbs. It's not the moisture though... it's the possible spraying from the pipe. You could also just use a spray guard:

You can feed the pipe from the center.

500 gph is not much at all, so can use a small pipe if you want.
