I don't think so, unless it was already green. It's brown, so feeding more will make it darker.

    alright!
to the light can be turned downed in strength, for now I will try to turn the light down instead of less hours... Is this madness or could that work?

Less hours is always better than less light

This is the pictures of my third week with red led lights (660nm)! It is slowly turning green but not as thick as I would like
The lights are 10 3W´s led and I have turned the strength about 30%down, the green is thickest in the areas a bit away from the light?

it is sqiurting a bit from clocking a bit in small seastars and bigger pods, should I try to cut the slot a tiny mm in the width? tha ATS is fed from the overflow...

do you think the canvas is rough enough?

    this is good feed back

what about the splashing from the slot... what is the best: Should I build a box around the ATs to secure the splashing or should I try to cut the slot a mm more in the width?

I m going to cut mine a bit wider as its not a loss if its worse as I have plenty of extra pipe. I use a table saw to cut mine so I figured I would cut a new slot then move my guard just a touch and cut it again to increase the slot. I also have a table router and might get a proper size bit for it instead. Either way I think this will stop the spray after the screen grows in. I have a light shield which makes it much better but its not a 100% cure.

I have mine in a box. I would definitely have issues with spraying if it wasn't. If you get your slot too wide, you might have issues with getting an even spread of flow on the screen, but it is fairly easy and cheap to experiment until you find the slot width that fits your flow. Also, I feed my scrubber from both sides since I have two drains. That helps get the flow even across the screen.

thanks for the replies about my spraying problems!
I have now put a 32mm pvc tube with aprox. 1cm wide slot as a guard of the spryaing and here some pictures for the fourth cleaning!

'i wonder if i should rough up the screen even more?
