I don't think you need iron.
OK...So then I should cut back the iron and or discontinue, correct. I have opened up the gate value on the main pipe that feeds the scrubber to increase the flow to the scrubber. My refugium is now only being feed by top off water or if it gets an overflow from the return section. Any other suggestions on how to green it up or do I worry about greening it up?
Thanks
Kent
Since N and P are zero, either your rock algae is consuming it, or you are just not feeding much. Just let it go for a while.
I do still have a lot of rock algae, that was may objective a year a ago, when I built my first scrubbers. It was not very effective, but did reduce the tank algae. After completing my SM clone, I have seen a further reduction in tank algae, quite a bit, but it is not all gone.. I am only feeding a very large pinch once a day, an occasional second pinch or frozen shrimp. I have keep feeding down to keep the rock algae growth down. Kind of a catch 22, feed more and possibly increase tank algae, but need to feed more for the scrubber..
overall the tank is much healthier, a lot of feather dusters, coming out of the rocks, yellow sponges, other opaque sponges. big thing is no water changes for over 8 months, almost no silt, it has really cut my maintenance. I guess I need to just be a little more patient and the wait on the scrubber to take over the tank algae.
thanks for the reply.

Since tests are zero you can feed more.

Thanks for all your help

What about reducing your display lighting hours for a few days to see if the scrubber out competes?
