Hello!

When the bulb change soon coming up i have an question:

I am now using Philips bulb 2700K rated, i see that my local shop has Osram bulbs, they are 2500K rated.

Does it make any difference using Philips 2700K or the Osram 2500K??

Cant be that mutch differense between 2500K - 2700K?

Without seeing a spectral graph of each bulb it is impossible to say. Kelvin only means what your eyes perceive as the color of the light coming off it... the reality vs what we think we see can be 2 completely different things.

Example: 2700k Light #1 has 50% red, 40% green/yellow, and 10% blue. 2700k Light #2 has 40% red, 40% green/yellow, and 20% blue. It is possible under a "Kelvin test" that both light looks identical and receive the 2700k rating, but the actual spectrum coming out of the 2 bulbs are quite different, but when all the spectrum is combined the overall look of the light appears to be the same to our eyes.

Ace and Santa Monica, thanks for answers.

The new Osram series of CFL bulbs for home use have the 2500K spectrum and Philips have the standard 2700K spectrum.
Osram is the most available bulb in shops where i live so i will try out an Osram with 2500K when changing bulb, i have been using the Philips 2700K bulb in my scrubber until now.
