How many much light output would you suggest I use on a single sided system with about 280 sq inches of surface area?Originally Posted by SantaMonica

The system will be heavily fed since almost everything is non-photosynthetic. I feed about a cap full of oyster feast everyday via automatic feeder, several cubes of mysis and cyclopeeze every 2-3 days, and about 10 bay scallops every 3-5 days.
With liquid feeding there is no recommendation. The more you can filter, the more you can feed. No limit.

Forgot about how much research I did on the first one, luckily most of it was saved here. I have a much larger sump space to work with and lots more NPS corynactis to feed this time around. My nitrates I'm sure are already sky high and I get plenty of good red/green hair algae growth in the main tank so getting the ATS going out in the sump should be great.
Anyways just thought I'd pop in and say hi...................after 8 years.........lol
Very nice to hear. Will be looking for the nps and scrubber update
