Custom Made Scrubbers

Ok, I'll be the first one to post here. I'm assuming this is OK since the sub-forum is labelled DIY resellers. SM tell me if it's intended for something else...

I have an acrylics fabrication shop set up in my garage. My business name is Turbo's Aquatics, my website is under construction and probably will be for a while, but it's www.turbosaquatics.com.

As soon as the new design is released, I will be building a couple of prototypes and testing them out. As soon as I have the "new basics" down, I will start building and stocking Scrubber -II's.

If anyone is interested in Scrubber -I's, I can make these also.

Having not yet seen the -II design, I cannot put a price on anything. But if you are interested in more information as it comes, you can PM me with your e-mail address and any questions and I'll put you on a list.

I can make any size scrubber. And I do mean any size, within reason. I mean who needs a 5 foot long scrubber. Still, I could probably make one that big.

The only thing out now is what has always been out. The new version, which is not called an "ATS", will be posted March 1st at the earliest.

The type he is referring to is the one that everyone currently uses, in general. SM is calling the soon-to-be-revealed version "Algae Scrubber II" so I guess I refer to the "current" version as "Scrubber I". Sorry for the confusion

Will the new scrubbers use LEDs and if not can they be retrofited.

All of the DIY designs I'm working on can use CFLs or LEDs.

Update... only some can use CFL's or T5's. A large number of designs are going to have to be LED only.

Hey Floyd, let me know if you need any graphics. I do graphic design and I could help out if need be for your site.
