I'm sure Rapid could answer that. However I think that it would be no problem to put LEDs 2" on center, which is what I have been doing. I have a 8.5" x 6" heat sink with 7 LEDs, 2 rows of 3 in a rectangle all 2" apart with one blue in the center like a capital I. That heat sink gets warm to the touch but never too hot to grab and fiddle with. So you could probably put 2x that on the 10" wide one and still be OK but I would be putting either 8 or 10 on it.

Oh sorry I didn't see that you were talking about a 10x10 one. I guess it's less about the heat sink and more about the screen you're trying to cover. I use the heat sink to fill in the space and block the light, so the bottom and top 1" have the slot pipe and false bottom chamber in front of it, so the LEDs are 2" in from those edges on the heat sink. So you would be 3 high and probably 4 or 5 wide, 12-15 reds, then 2 blues so 14-17 LEDs

Actually, brain wasn't working late Friday when I wrote that. On a 10x10 heat sink, you would be able to fit 4 rows and 4-5 columns, so 16-20 reds and then probably 2 or 3 blues.

my web guy lost his job and is getting married I think either next weekend or maybe this past one, and I really haven't given him much to go on. It's low on the totem pole right now. Just getting the first batch of scrubbers finished up and online, then the CNC batch just got cut this weekend so this next week I seriously have my hands full.
