Looks like the light is too far from the screen. Plus, most of the light is going to the tank, not the screen.

really hope so still runnig it with the 150w hqi the bulb is a 12000k reeflux started with 14000k but i like the natural look with alot of white 8 hours og light and no moon ligth thx for reply santa

try to make some automatic fish feeder so its more stabile and not just when i remember

I have a little caulerpa I'm going to remove it so the scrubber can get more nutrient some opinions surrounding this? I am a little worried about the scrubber can follow the absorption of nutrients ?

A scrubber should be able to out-compete any other macro algae, so removing the caulerpa should only help.

ID:	1662hey since I have been busy of late, I had no time to keep my thread opdated
2/9 a week ago rensed my scrubber for the first time I could see I had some green growth but the algae had an oily surface smooth and shining
now 7 days since I rensed and I can see the same surface comes again is there anyone who knows what it may be due

I would have waited longer with the first cleansing but dare not because of the oil surface

What is that screen material? You are getting algae letting go. Make sure you are using very rough screen canvas.
