It seems like many of us no longer do any water changes, I was just wondering if you guys dose anything. I finally gathered enough $$ to get my self a 4ch reefdoser, and set it up to dose cal and alk and mag. With one remaining channel open and not sure what else to dose. hoping you guys would have some good recommendations.
At the moment, the only thing I dose is buffer to keep the dKh up, and still no water changes in 8+ months (apart from the addition of extra water to make the move from 3'x2'x2' to 6'x2'x2'). I've started to keep more hard corals that are thriving in the tank and visibly growing fast (much faster than the guy who fragged them in his tank, and he has brighter lights and feeds the coral, but has a huge skimmer).
I think I may keep an eye on the strontium/magnesium and may have to dose that as I've never checked them, as all the corals have looked fine.
