    speaking of going skimmerless. If you run both together will it eventually start to pull less skimmate? Or will it simply be still pulling out the same stuff since it's "food" and not yet in the state that the ATS would make use of it.

    Same stuff. Maybe more, since the scrubber gives more DOC food for bacteria and microbes, which feeds more copepods etc, which will be pulled out too.
