I have to ask, what is the issue you are having with getting Tapatalk installed? On my site it took me only a few minutes to upload and install it, then I had to troubleshoot a bit to get push notifications working, but since then it's been working like clockwork, and updates have gone in without a glitch.

So what is the holdup? It is really annoying to not be able to use it!

No, that's my point - it is simple to install. Literally download, upload into the appropriate VB directory, log in to admin CP and point to the directory, click go, done. The rest is just registering the site on Tapatalk's side and there is a little digging that has to be done because their site is not intuitively obvious, but once you know what to do, it's really easy.

Not sure but I think you do have it installed, just disabled. Maybe you registered but did not install? Because this forum shows up on Tapatalk when you search for it.

I recall you mentioned something in the past about it potentially screwing things up. I would not worry, plugins don't work that way. Anyways.

Here is how you do it.

Register on the Tapatalk site, get yourself a username and password.

Add your forum under the "basic" tab, fill out all the required info and save.

Download 4.x from this page: http://www.tapatalk.com/activate_tap...ugin=vbulletin

Unzip and upload the mobiquo folder into your root vbulletin folder

Log into Admin CP, then click Plugins & Products -> Manage Products -> Add/Import Product

In the field that says "OR import the XML file from your server" enter "./mobiquo/product-tapatalk.xml"

    Click Import. Done. That's it.

Now, make it nice for all of us and do this:

Go back to Tapatalk Forum Owner area (after you log in) http://www.tapatalk.com/forum_owner.php, click the "Advanced" tab, then copy the Push Notification Key

Go back to Admin CP and go Settings -> options -> Tapatalk Options, paste the Push Notification Key, save

Go to http://www.tapatalk.com/activate_tap...ugin=vbulletin, scroll down to "Push Notification support in vBulletin 3.7, 3.8 and 4.x"

Visit algaescrubber.net/forums/mobiquo/push.php (or {Your forum root url path}/mobiquo/push.php) and you should get this:

    Tapatalk Push Notification Status Monitor

    Push notification test: Success
    Current forum url: algaescrubber.net/forums
    Current server IP: ---.---.--.--- (yours)
    Tapatalk user table existence:Yes
    Push Notification Option status:On
    Push Slug Status : Free
In the time it took me to write this, I could have installed it on 4 sites.
