I have messed with forums alot, set em up, found great free software and tried alot.

Brand spanking new board it looks like. OK, just a suggestion. I really find the SMF forum much easier to manage.

SMF has some nice themes also. Support help is better for phpbb, and yabb has great support but does not run a data base. It can run a large user base easily.

My yabb forum is at http://snailrider.com just click forum.
My smf (simple machines) forum is at http://zywie.com
My phpbb forum is at http://freehelpings.com/helpinghands

If you need a hand with this joint give me a shout. OH yea, get some good smiley sets.

    Hi Snail,
    Welcome to the forums =)
Thanks for the advice, I've got some experience with mucking around with the internals of phpbb and writing plugins for it, so I'll probably stick with it, and phpBB 3 is one of the best I've seen so far.
I've not had much time to theme it yet, but I know I certainly can make it look different. And yes, I'll get a new smilie set, and some avatars too
