High wattage technique...am I on the right track?

Hi there...led gurus. This will be my first ever LED build. Would like to seek some advice first before I begin

I'm building a 2 cube/day scrubber using the 2 side high wattage technique. My screen size will be 6" x 4". After some calculation(correct me if I'm wrong) I've come up with the following configuration. Please advice which is the better option

    6 x 3W 660nm LED (3 on each side)
    or
    6 x 3w 660nm + 2 x 3w 455nm (4 on each side)

not sure if the 2nd option would cause algae to burn. Please discuss and thank you!

I have a screen thats about 6x9 with 4 660nm on one side and 4 660nm + a 450nm on the other side for a test to see what produces better. I do not have a burning issue with mine as long as I do not get them right up on top of the screen. I have mine about 2.5" away. It seems that the blue side has a better advantage so far.

Are you feeding 4.5 cubes a day? I'm planning on packing the lights to be around 2" away from the screen. A mini version of SM100.

I feed about 4-ish, some days 5-ish, and other days 3-ish. Really depends on if I give my corals liquid food which might bump it up to 6-ish a day once or twice a week. My nutrients are always zero-ish. I do get huge growth when I get to about 4-5 cubes a day.

I'll assume that you r using a 2 sided screen right? Which means only 1 blue led on 1 side?
