    not so much growth- help!

I'm not getting much growth on my screen. I recently changed the screen size from original sizing to the "per feeding size". The growth is very light green, even coloration all throughout. flow is measured and correct. I'm having Cyano and some diatoms. running 18/6 hours. I can scrap after 10 days and get about one handfull of algae from both sides of the screen (definitely not 3d). What should I do?

Size of screen size and bulb configuration is
    (4) 23W CFL to a 13.5"W x 9"L (2" is under water)

Ok, so screen is about 120 sq in, then 2" is under water, so does that mean that it's effecively 7" tall? then it would be about 100 sq in which means that's an 8 cube/day scrubber.

Then you've got 4 x 23W = 92W of light, so you're good there. light should be on 18 off 6, in general. As long as you don't get yellow.

As for your DT algae, have you measured N and P? What test kits do you use for these?

How long has the tank been up and running?

Info on tank? Size, pics, etc...

    How much LR?

    Depth of sand bed?

How often and how much do you feed?

Give as much info as you can...

Thank you!.... I'm pulling my hair on on the cyano... I'm so tempted to add some chemi clean, but I'd hate to crash the tank

That is a stunning tank my man!

Is the cyano everywhere, or just patchy?

How long have you been battling it?

Was the scrubber installed on the tank on day one, or more recently?

Did you have an algae problem that the scrubber solved, then the cyano showed up?

various spots, both high and low flow areas, both high and low light areas

    2 months or so

installed recently (about 6 weeks ago, I had cyano issues before the ATS swap). I went from carbon dosing no carbon dosing cold turkey

Did you have an algae problem that the scrubber solved, then the cyano showed up?
Actually, stopping the carbon dosing increased the algae growth in the tank, along with cyano. I have just restarted some carbon dosing to aid with nutrient removal
