    Light colour prefernce results

What's your prefernce on light colour too for your bulb?

    What brand are you using?

    I'm currently using Phillips 28w PL-L 6500k & 4000k tubes.

Wanting to try a couple of other PL tubes from another supplier but want some others thoughts before I order any more tubes.

Spread the word on Algae Scrubber Forum as there are folk out there who are looking for help to get nutrient issues sorted in their tanks.
Shared with a guy on RC and he's keen now to DIY a scrubber for his system...

I think 2700K is the best. Not aware of any brand differences. I've been testing pink grow bulbs, but the 2700K (in this one test) are better.

One thing about RC... there are hundreds of skimmer reps there, who are being paid to cloud the issue of scrubbers. And there is nobody being paid to do the opposite. But it's great that your friend can fix his system.
