    ok, then maybe adding some co2 to the air from the airpump would help, yes?

    i remember this (adding co2)has been discussed bei just can't remember what the results were.

    Correct; if not touching the algae, it does nothing at all.

    SM have u or any one thought of using a powerhead w/ a pinwheel & venturi

    I have thought about using a couple power heads with the venturi port. I have not pulled the trigger yet as I do not have these just laying around.

    If you have a powerhead & air line that's all you really need. Have one side of the airline above the water line & the other right in front of the PH intake. The suction will pull in the air and the wheel will chop it up. If you were to ads a air pump use a small one otherwise it pulls in to much air.
