    Temperature and Algae Growth

Hi, I have a Solar set up, outside. (duh on me) It's 2 screens side by side. The first screen is kickin'.
Question does temperature have an affect on algae growth?
It was 107 F in Phoenix today. Water temp in this tank was 80 F, it's usually 70 F.
We are heading into our "it's hot but it's a dry hot" (big deal, it's still HOT) time of year.
My first screen showed a lot of growth today.
(Two screens per SM's advice so I can clean one and keep the cycle going, I hope to replace my bio filter with my scrubber)
It's going to get hotter here in Phoenix.
    Thanks, Tony

I know it's not exactly the same but single cell algae cultures can be grown upto 39 deg Celcius, and maybe pushed even further.
