    how to drill PVC for slot?

    SO i am making an LED water fall ATS and can't seam to round up a dremel I heard of ppl using a drill then filiing it out? anyone have a step by step guide?

    Wow you like doing it the hard way.
    Why not wait and get a friend who has a table saw cut one nice n straight for you.
    Or do the many holes along the bottem of the pipe and saran wrap to control the side spraying type.

    haha yeah some times I do...i just live in a small town in wyoming and can't seam to find tool rentals or ppl with a table saw. I do have a buddy coming up in a week that has one so I guess I just have to wait... hoping to get it done as I have been working on it for a while now.

    Do the "no slot alternative" method if you don't have a saw. Works better for me than a slot anyway.

    YES!! this is what i needed I can do that!
    I running 400 GPH through my over flow (tested) and my screen is going to be 8X 5" any thoughts of hole size for right flow before I go drilling PVC?

    Start small and just make them bigger until you get the flow you want. I stopped at 3/16", but I probably could have gone a bit larger.

    ok thanks! will do, now all i have to do is find another screen I cut the one i had and now it to small to fold over... oh the joys of living in a small town.
