    lloydxmas UAS test

    Hi guys

Started this up over 2 weeks ago and cleaned it once so far, the growth is dark but up close is not so slimey and now has fine hairs. There is a bit of long green growth
flapping about on the right hand side. Should I scrape the screen now or wait a few days.

Its running 12 hours on 12 off
8 deep red leds 700ma about 100mm away( there were bald patches when it was about 30mm away)

    Let it go 14 days.

You might increase the hours by 2 per day now.

    Ok thanks

I think the screen is a bit big for one cube a day, is there any negatives with a screen to big for feeding size? (apart from wasted light and air flow)

They do not green so they are weaker compared to the screen that would get green.

I dont think its working like it should be, the green hairs are getting slimed over. I leaned it forward a touch the other day, the bubbles hit the glass at the top and green hairs are growing from the glass in only 2 days.
Im thinking about scraping the screen back to get rid of this other growth
