    aquaclear uas am i doing this properly?

    Hey guys just pixkedbup thos filter for my fluval chi and removed the filter media inserted this nylon mesh after roughing itbupba bit with a saw blade

    Then threw this air stone in it

    Willbtuis be sufficent for my fresh water 5 gallon tank
    Doing this to isolate brown algae growing on my plants

    Plants will be movex to a 10 gallon aquascape setup soon probably tommorrow

    what are you using for light for the scrubber?

    No, the bubbler needs to be below the screen.

    Desklamp with a cfl bulb
    Too weak?

    As for my air issue will a smaller stone solve my issue?

    Will this even work in fresh water?

    Probably needs a 23w CFL.

    Any size stone, that can go under the screen.

    Yes works in fresh.
