If you are not getting direct sunlight, it makes me wonder if your scrubber would be effective at all. I had the chance to do the same and decided to go with bulbs as i wasnt going to get direct sunlight.

What happened is after ats1 was running for 7 months, i was still getting brown slime n algae. so i started ats2 hoping to 'catch' more sun to extract the N n P.
Try the attachments again.
Seems fine for free light.
this time of the year, the sun is shying away. So i started a cfl 23w 2700k bulb on the back side of the screen ie, on the front side is sun powered, n on the other is this bulb.

The bulb was placed about 2inch from the screen. Looks like the algae got burnt??
If you use a bulb, the reflector must cover the whole screen.
How does the algae look?
