took pic this morning. the macro has been thinned out to encourage the scubber to grow more.
Wondering if i should clear the macro completely? it was used as a back up when the scrubber was developing.

the sun penetrates right thru to the back of the macro algae so actually there is no dead macro.

I would remove the macro; the weak photosynthesis on the back side is not helping. You never want weak light anywhere in your filter.

N and P are not zero. They are below the level of the test.

    1. should i remove the slime n macro/ caulerpa algae in the main tank or wait for it to disappear?

    2. i dose sodium bicarbonate, calcium n magnesium regularly, that doesnt contributed to the nuisance algae, correct?

    3. i have read that potassium contributes to nuisance algae, so i stop dosing this, correct?

    thanks bro

A couple guys on here are experimenting with potassium and one said it made his algae darker. Still nothing conclusive yet. The other things are fine and need to be dosed.
