It looks decent, but your screen material is the #5 mesh, you want the #7 mesh. #7 is 7 holes/inch, #5 is 5 holes/inch and the flow will not be as even. but it wil probably still work.

Do you have a large system that you feed alot? 24" wide screen is pretty big.

Will double check which mesh later . Yupp its on a 180g which has 5 to 8cube of mysis a day. Any idea which eshine led unit to go for as they stop producing the 50x1w or which is the best DIY configuration you would advise ?
    Thanks

Yes, but you have to buy them 50 at a time, unless they changed that also

8 cubes/day x 12 sq in = 96 sq in, so 24x4 would be the size, is that what you have?

So for LED for that (IMO) the minimum would be 6 reds (one for each 4x4 section) and the max would be 24 (one for each 2x2 section) on each side. so 12 reds and 2 blues per side would probably be about right. 2 horizontal rows of 6, 2 inches apart vertically and 3 apart horizontally, then stick the blues in the center of each half.

I just bought 2 of them, in black, from Vicky.

Fans are very noisy now, compared to the first ones.
