18/6 reverse time lightning with 2x24w PC bulb,
The media what i use is 50cmx30cm with IKEA pvc mesh.
NO3 ~5 mglL
PO4 ~0 mg/L

Can you increase flow? If now, maybe you can reduce the width, so that the same water has less area.

So, this runs off an overflow tank. It is a bit short on flow, won't be a problem now but as you get thicker growth you'll get relatively lower flow to algae area. This turns the algae brown. Should be easy to increase it though shouldn't it ?

Yes the water comes from the main tank overflow, no extra pumps just the water i have returned. now my pump is on half steam, so i can increase the flow to double or if it will be not enought maybe an extra pump.

You could also put a pump in the lower chamber to the upper chamber if you don't want to increase flow through the tank, that would just increase flow over the screen and that is the main point.

I would increase flow on return to raise flow. You'd be moving more of the display water over it instead of water that's already passed over it. But that's how my brain works. Is that a poece of hose split and placed on the edge of where the water is flowing? Maybe remove it to lower that edge to create more flow. Or would flow reamin the same just lower in that box?

Hello SantaMonica can U give me an advise?
Need i clear the screen from algae? Its one mounth old, and i got a very thick algae growth. The water paramteres are excellent, nearly zero nitrate and phosphate.

yes its a one side cutted hose the water flows under the hose and over inside its groove, and make the water evently flow down, equal on each square cm. the flow now is 2000L/h on 50cm wide screen. The hose holds the screen btw.
