    Waterfall pump

Been running my waterfall now for 6 months. Cleaned the pump with HCL. I estimate that flow has doubled. Although the flow looked ok, it obviously had been seriously reduced over time. Same with the CFL lights, although they look ok after 3 months, when you change them the intensity is staggering.

I've been thinking of changing bulbs for a while now. But I also keep telling myself I'll do it when I drag my new set up in the house. I recently switched to cubed food from pellets. I'll say the algae has greened up and growth is double if not triple what it was. Even with 9 month old bulbs.

Yeah. My thought is if my temporary set up has enough to change, I'll have good reason to set up new system. But when you do nothing but feed your inhabitants and clean a screen every week or so.......I feel sorry for hobbyist that spend way too much time maintaining and money on chemicals and contraptions not needed.

Maybe for fun I'll change one today. The other side is tricky to get to.
