No changes to the better during last few days. Two SPS dead instead.

Now I start remembering Floyds(if I remember it right) warning about possible silicon curing harm, when I re glued front glass. I only waited for 5 days... Not proved theory , but nothing else comes to my mind .

Changed water. 40% twice. Things started to look much better week after change.
Screen again showing signs of nice green. Nitrates down to 2.5 from 5.

Got a bit of ciano in center front area of bottom. Shell I do something with it ?

Kotlec - on a different thread you posted that you only feed 1 cube of food max per week. Without going through all the old stuff, how big is your screen? You always got "alien growth" didn't you? (chlorosis of some sort) In this thread you have even agreed that your not feeding enough. Surely this all ties together.

My screen is 6x4 single sided. 5w red + 1w blue.
New tank does not grow alien stuff anymore. One more factor besides getting rid of sand bed was 2x bigger pump.
Interestingly last month it grew nothing at all. May be few grams of alien transparent stuff at most. Now returning to normal.
