    UAS design for my sump

here is the rough draft of the design for my sump on my fancy goldfish tank we are planning.
this is also my 1st time at using an UAS... this is not to scale, just an idea that i hope is workable.

basically i will be making a box to place my red led light fixture in.

i only have room for a 10g tank in the stand of the 55g tank.

    what do you think..?

    EDIT..
i think i will not use the air supply and give jaczal UAS without air bubbles idea a try..

I do not know what you want to give the lamp in the water? Give the outside (see photo filtr_2 in 16 post). I do not have time right now, but tomorrow I'll write my proposal for your solution.

the top would be open where the lamp would be. instead of putting the lamp on the outside of the tank (where i do not have room).

Seems fine. I'd keep the screen area narrow... 20 mm on each side.

In fact, you do not have space on the outside! I think it will be better by the Annex.

    i have a question...
with your proposed design, would there be too much turbulence in the 1st partition..? i mean with the water coming in and trying to flow back up over the partition...

Water always flows where less resistance. Perhaps You will need protective screens guides before tilting sideways. He'll be fine.
