Hi All, just checking in and had a few questions, I changed my bulbs a couple of week ago to 43 watts a side and it hasn't turned yellow or anything but it still not getting my nitrates down at all so I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what to think at this point because they should've come down by now?? Any ideas would be helpful....Thanks, Don

If nitrates are still at 40 I would check to see if you have any other things that are putting nitrates in the system other than food.

I am assuming your screen size is correct to the amount of food you are putting in. If you are running the scrubber 14 to 18 hours per day and have the correct screen size and flow of air or water, your nitrates should be going down unless there is something else putting them in. Are you using RODI water?

Yes I use RODI, I feed nori and thera a spectrum pellet.
Yes SM it's growing, how well I thought pretty good. I'll try to post pics later.
I'm using API because they work pretty well with high nitrates...sps isn't doing all that great so just trying to figure things out.....Thanks
