Do reverse lit scrubbers stabilize PH in like refugiums do???

I've read that reverse lit (lit when main lights off) refugiums with cheato help stabilize the PH in the main tank. Does this also occur with a algae scrubber?

I've read that the algae grows in an algae scrubber grows even when the lights are off so maybe this is not the case for algae scrubbers.

Yes its still the case. Photosynthesis is what keeps ph up. If you run oposite you will always have photosynthesis going on, in your scrubber and in the tank.
