question about a par38 led bulb i found.

Hey guys this is my first post so forgive me if its been coverd!
Yes i did use the search function but i found nothing on this bulb.
Its a 2700k par 38 led by ecosmart and i found it at home depot for $24. Its a 75w equiv. That says it runs at 14w.

I took the liberty of prying the cover off and looking at the diodes... they dont appear to be junk to me!
Maybe you guys can provide input on these. Junk or not?

Looks like 14 watts of warm white. Very concentrated though.

It will work, but 14 watts of plant-grow, or of 660 red, would be better.

Ive got my PVC frame mostly done and i think ill use these for now. The light will be visible in my dining room so i wanted to avoid the rave/disco tech look as much as possible but id also like the savings. If you think they will work but maybe be less efficient than i guess ill try them!

Would it be of any benefit to use a needle wheel pump to blow a highly oxygenated foam (rather than a standard pump) up and over an ATS? I'm only making the assumption that it may help with growth based on the UAS designs pushing bubbles over the algae sheets... Seems like algae likes the O2...

That lamp is 'warm white' but LED warm white is not the same as CFL as CFL is mercury-based UV light shifted with phosphors so there is a wide spectrum, and LED are element based so there is a narrow spectrum.
