    hey guys... I started buying some things...
    I have a doubt here...
    would a 6in x 6in screen, with 3 x 3w red led each side enough?
    the total is
    36 square inches in 18W red led.
    and whats the best red spectrum?

    660nm

    Depending on how much you drive them, you probably should have 4 to 6 LEDs.

    Maybe 4 on each side. Place them so they don't shine on the same spot from both sides.

    this leds run on 850mA,
    but the drivers i've found are 900 or 600...
    can you help me find the right one, to run 8 of this http://dx.com/p/epileds-sf-3w-gh-3w-...-silver-186908
